Environmental concerns

Aiming at reducing waste, limiting pollution due to industrial waste, and investing in a renewable energy offer

An industrial aim

Involved in the processing of end-of-life industrial waste, the Atlantic Group co-founded the ECO-SYSTEMES eco-organisation in 2005. This entity is fully dedicated to selective sorting, recycling or destruction of end-of-life products.
In order to optimise recycling, Atlantic also complies with the European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). This involves not mixing industrial waste with generalwaste, thus reducing any harmful effects on the environment and human health that may be caused by the presence of hazardous substances.
Finally, Atlantic’s manufacturing process uses solvent-free paint and a surface treatment process with no discharge of pollution into the water table.

R&D investment

Our research and development policy has led to significant innovations. The company’s R&D investment, amounting to 4% of sales, now places our group at the forefront of those who are moving the climate control engineering industry forward at European level.
Our motivated and dedicated teams combined with a top-quality industrial facility and a strategic aim, contributes strongly to the development of new heating systems, particularly those using renewable energies.

A range of renewable energy products

Water, sun, air, wood… are all natural sources of energy.
The relatively low impact of these products on the environment makes them key solutions to the problem of greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, fluctuations in the price of fossil fuels (petrol, gas, etc.) and government grants set up in many countries mean that these new energies are being chosen by consumers for both their environmental and economic performance.
Backed by our solid experience in dealing with multiple energy sources, we at Atlantic have in recent years turned increasingly to products that make optimal use of these natural resources. Whether it is solar water heaters, air-to-air or ground-to-air heat pumps, or ventilation systems, our range is expanding regularly and we at Atlantic devote all our expertise in designing products that meet the three-fold demands of domestic and business customers: COMFORT, SAVINGS and ECOLOGY.

Atlantic’s eco-citizen approach now represents a challenge for all employees and partners. We still have a lot of work to do in this field but we are committed to this path.
Sustainable comfort is now a strategic line of development for the brand and the Group.
